About Me
Hi,
Welcome to my room, make yourself at home. This is a casual third space for me. And now for you too. I wanted to make a blog because I have way too many thoughts floating around in my head and I needed a place to ground them. I looked at one reddit post on free blog websites and landed here. So I am still figuring things out, but I'm excited for this journey.
Okay, as I am writing this, I am desperately looking for the line spacing option because I need my 1.5 spacing. This current spacing is way too narrow for my eyes. Actually, this doesn't look too bad in the preview :P I don't like how the layout I'm seeing now as I'm writing is shown differently in preview. Shouldn't I be seeing the same formatting right now?
Anyways, I named this space "sumin's room" because this is just one room that makes up who I am. People can come and go as they please. For me, good ideas strike me like lightening and they sit themselves in my head perfectly. Like when you draw a perfect straight rectangle with a ruler. That's what happened with the name. Also, all lowercase because visually, it's pleasing to my eyes from having no ascenders (line that goes up like l, t) and descenders (line that goes down like p, q). All the same height. And the apostrophe breaks it up a little and brings a little razzle dazzle to the name. Yummy.
Alright, here's a little Q&A about me :)
When is your birthday?
October 20th
Would you rather be a mountain or a sea?
Mountain. Because it's grounded, but malleable. Something I strive to be I guess.
What would you be as an object?
Printer. Very functional, can bring something in the digital world to the physical world. But will run out of juice. Finicky at times, but I will deliver.
Favorite punctuation?
EM DASH TRUTHERS UNITE!! —
Your Real Housewives of Orange County tagline?
"I don't think I'm better than everyone, I just think I'm perfect." Okay, I came up with this last year, and I don't know if I 100% resonate with it anymore. I need to think of a new one.
Current book and songs on rotation?
Book: Strangers need strange moments together by Mouna Andraos and Melissa Mongiat.
Songs: Jennie - Starlight (minus the fuckass narration), Double Standard - American Psycho, Paramore - Still Into You. I'm always looking for new music (apple music's algorithm doesn't eat like spotify's) so feel free to recommend me songs :)
Happy pride month!
